I like this bakery, or panaderia as it's officially called. It's not a fancy, gourmet, croissant-serving café. It's a good 'ol sweet bread-making place. It's not in the fanciest part of town but I think that kind of adds to its charm. They have good, inexpensive sweet bread that pairs deliciously a la Mexicana (aka, served with a cup of coffee). This is the closest I've found to LA-style Mexican sweet bread in Las Vegas. I've tried the Mexican grocery stores and they pale in comparison. They also carry this delicious ham, cheese, jalapeno bread concoction that tastes delicious when reheated in the oven and is large enough for two. The store itself isn't much to look at, but let's be honest, I can buy Mexican coke anywhere these days. I'm just coming here for the bread. Do yourself a favor though and make sure you bring cash, there's a $0.50 surcharge for using plastic.
