It has taken me quite a while to post this review. I want to support local businesses and at the same time, I want to be honest in my experience. While I'm sure many people receive great hairstyles from here, I did not...all three times I came. I scheduled 3 appointments within a 2 week timespan. Not my idea of a good beauty regimen. When I initially called, I only planned to go in once. I explained I was looking for a "home" salon and not wait to get my hair done when I returned back to AZ. The consultation went well and I felt hopeful. However, after getting my hair worked on for 3 hours or so, she still wasn't finished and I had to return for the cut another day. I got my hair colored (which I have done for years) and this was the first time my hair was bleached blonde to put a color over it. She missed a little section (it stayed blonde) and rather than correcting it right then, she told me to schedule another appointment to get another treatment to seal in the other color. AND I had to pay for all of it. After talking to my hairstylist in AZ, she told me that bleaching my hair was not a good practice and eventually the color would fade and I would be blonde...with this Asian face, blonde is not an option. I took a detailed photo of my last haircut...but it didn't turn out. I got a quote significantly lower over-the-phone than what I ended up paying. I even asked the hairstylist and she didn't really have an answer for how the discrepancy happened. I ended up paying well over $300 (I still get a little queasy thinking about dishing out that much $). I've never spent that much for my hair in "one" hair cycle. On a more positive note, the hairstylist was very sweet. Also, they offer their customers beverages; I had some hot tea in a fun tea set. It's a cute, little house in a good location right off Park Road. The parking is in the back, which you can't see from the street.
