Very Impressed!
This was my first time @ Pure + Simple and I've already booked my next facial :)
I had the classic European Pure + Simple facial (only $74!!) and enjoyed the whole process. My esthetician examined my skin and asked me questions (what products I use, how it feels,etc) and came to the conclusion that I had dry skin -- which was a surprise to me, as I always considered my skin oily.
The esthetician explained everything she was doing & which products she was using on my face. At the end of the facial, she suggested which products I should purchase for use at home. I did end up buying the Black Mud Facial Lotion (100ml for $50 - very well priced imo) I have been using it for about a week now but not entirely sure how I feel about it yet... plus, a week is still too early to tell.
In the last week following my facial, I have noticed a few small breakouts. I'm not sure if this is due to the extractions? Or from cleaning out my skin (I'm fairly new to facials) or from the Black Mud lotion? I will monitor for a while longer. Next time, I will be sure to ask for samples before committing to a product as they have a NO RETURN / REFUND policy (unless your skin has an allergic reaction)
