We were too dressed up / in heels for gem bar and the sports book, but didn't feel quite comfortable (i.e., old or rich enough) for Alibi, so we popped in here for a drink while waiting for our show to open. Must be under new management, as I read some of the bad reviews below and had a completely different experience. Enjoyed a strong, not-too-sweet old fashioned made properly with rye whiskey and pleasant conversation with the bartender. Drinks are a little on the pricey side but not outrageous for a bar in a hotel on the strip ($7 beer, $19 cocktails). We brought our drinks from the bar to a little table (we had a feeling it would take longer if we sat at a table and waited for a cocktail waitress to come by). After about 15 minutes a waitress came by to see if we needed anything else (we didn't) and we were in and out of there in less than thirty minutes during cocktail hour on a Friday night. Overall a pleasant experience and an easy place to grab a drink before our show.
