Wow, who knew they could fashion a gorgeous and delicious wedding cake? We needed a simple, elegant cake and selected (whaddyaknow) the Simplicity design, two tiered beauty. Had a short consultation with the baker and they committed to a pick up time.
When I went up to pay for the cake, I was so so so surprised! It was amazingly INEXPENSIVE, compared to the other bakeries I checked with and, hell, compared to even a fancy bundt cake even. Of course, I then began to wonder if I would end up with the old adage, "you get what you pay for"?
When we picked up the cake, it was ready on time as promised, and it was gorgeous! The Baker offered to put the orchids on, but we were in a hurry so did it ourselves. At the intimate wedding, the cake was cut and served to everyone. Bride and groom and guests raved about the flavor and luscious filling, and there was not a morsel left! Without hesitation, I would absolutely order another special occasion cake from this store!
