Krua is our go to for Thai when we're not looking to drive (Siam is the best in Phoenix but a bit of a hike). The food is always good and price is reasonable - we normally get the pad thai and a curry, alternating between yellow and pineapple curry with duck. For the pad Thai, don't expect anything fancy - they serve up a more basic version than other americanized fare. And watch out when spicing it up here - medium is on par with Thai spicy at other joints. Go ahead and play it safe, they've got a shaker of spice at every table in case you need to up it a notch. Don't forget to order a Thai iced tea to wash everything down.
