I am so thrilled with my experience at Classic Hair today. I have been in Pittsburgh for a little over 2 years and had yet to find a salon and stylist I liked. So I decided to give Classic a shot because of the stellar reviews and reasonable prices. I had a cut and balayage today with Mary, and from start to finish the experience was great.
I walked in the door and was greeted immediately. Mary was on time, and she was friendly. I was offered water and a cup of coffee, and they even had a special shelf for my purse. (It's the little things!) She did a beautiful job with both the cut and color... I didn't know exactly what I wanted for the color, but I told her I wanted it to be subtle. I ended up loving what she did with the balayage.
I had a very talented stylist for 15 years before moving to Pittsburgh, and this is the first time someone has even compared to that lady. I will keep going to Mary at Classic Hair, and I highly recommend this salon!!!!!
Update a year later: still love Classic Hair and Makeup, still love what Mary does with my hair, and I still recommend it 10000%. My husband has started going here too, and we love what she does with his hair too. It's definitely easier because he's not very high maintenance but we went to several cheaper places for his hair in the past and it was an actual disaster. So really if you want a great cut at a good place and friendly people, go here.
