Meh - this is a review in progress (so please wait for the updated review), as last week I dropped off a pair of heels. One heel was squished, both needing heel tips. $10.35, which is overpriced in my experience, but convenient to work. He told me to pick them up Friday. I asked if he could hold them until Monday and he countered Tuesday. Sold. Tuesday was yesterday with a curtain across the door and a handwritten note saying they are closed Monday and Tuesday (no phone call to let me know they're closed outside of their normal hours). Fine, it's Wednesday - closed again, no phone call and the sign hasn't been updated for their closing. Ok cool - it's coming up on a holiday weekend so I'll keep trying back, but I wish someone would've told me so I could plan better and not waste my time stopping by every day -__- UPDATE: The following Tuesday they were open (I called) and I got my shoes two weeks after dropping them off (granted: holiday, I get it. but still). The new heel tips are stronger and look more durable than the orginal pair and no noticable wear on the fabric (from when the heel got squished from me walking on it all day until I could switch to another pair). The older gentleman who took the shoes was not there, but a woman and younger man who were rearranging everything for a new carpet install. I'm not sure they even knew there was an issue, nor did I bring it up. Good workmanship, slightly overpriced, but convenient. Upgrading review to 3 stars.
