I went into The Vitamin Shoppe today. The store looks nice, neat and orderly. There is not an overabundance of inventory. There were three or four men working there and I was greeted when I walked in. I spent probably 20 minutes or more in the store. I was looking for one particular item.
These stores are very intimidating for me but at the same time I do like to go up and down the aisles looking at what's there.
I went through most of the store and finally found what I was looking for. There was one person who was straightening the aisle I passed by (possibly stocking I'm not sure). There was only one other customer in the store so the guys were just hanging out. Not once was I asked if I needed help until I had in hand what I was looking for then the guy was very pleasant.
Customer service is not their thing here.
