This actually pains me a bit to write...the Flamingo hotel and casino has always held a special place with my fiancé and myself. We discovered vegas over the years and stayed at this property every time. Throughout the years we have always been satisfied. I even proposed here (kinda meh to some people, but this place is special to us). That brings us to tonight, we're celebrating the anniversary of the day we met. We showed up around 10pm and checked in, I told the front desk about why we are here and all seemed well. We were checked into a "GO room", seemed okay at the time. We went up to the room and we thought someone was still staying in the room. Both beds were messed up, trash everywhere and personal belongings were left behind. I immediately called guest services, was told we could not be checked into any other room and that there would be a "rush" put on house cleaning to come clean our room. 30 minutes later no one has shown up. I called again and was told the same thing. An hour and a half later, our room is finally cleaned. No compensation, no follow up. We are severely disappointed in the lack of hospitality shown tonight. Maybe our money isn't appreciated anymore. I've heard MGM has great properties too.
