I have been using Oasis Cleaners since September of 2017, twice a month, 1 suit, and, 2 shirts, plus alterations. They charge me $11.00 each time. $22.00 a month, not counting $8.00 if I need alterations. This week I brought 5 shirts and 1 suit to clean, and also, to have the pants altered. I specifically showed the woman where the pants needed to be altered. She said, OK, and handed me my receipt for $19.25 Today I go to pick up the pants and the lady at the counter said I owed $27.25 I asked the manager why the extra cost and he said the lady forgot to add the $8.00 for the alterations. I told him that was their mistake. The manager admitted it was indeed their mistake. He apologized and insisted I still pay the extra $8.00 I told him I disagree. I did pay the extra $8.00 Oasis cleaners, I hope the $8.00 was worth a customer of almost 1 year. It's not the amount, it's the principle that a customer has to pay for your mistake that you did admit too. The way I was taught, "The customer is always right" Especially when the business owners make the mistake. How sad you don't see it.
