I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my birthday here with friends at brunch. The red velvet waffle is perfection. I would recommend that to anyone. It was surprisingly soft & spongy, while tender at the same time. The flavors were perfect. I had shrimp & grits & the flavors there were great as well- kind of remenecent of fajitas. While I loved the shrimp & grits I do think they were in need of a texture variant. It a BIG bowl of soft, kind of mushiness... i didn't think the shrimp & okra alone provided enough texture. A friend offered me her toast & I thought that worked great with the grits (they should consider always serving it with toast) Mimosas- while I wouldn't say they're worth the $8, I still thought they were nice. The poppy seed French toast- while I loved the flavors of that, I found the poppy seed in the toast I could've done without. Service was great, bathrooms were small but nice & clean. Overall, I loved it & will definitely return soon.
