Staff is great, but the physician, Dr. Venegas is less than sympathetic. I have been on ADHD medication since my early 20's and I am/was on anxiety medication for PTSD since 1988 after a plane crash. The previous doctor at this clinic prescribed my medication without hestitation. Dr. Venegas refused to prescribe my medication and wanted me to sign a consent for for periodic drug testing. I was floored. I have MS and in chronic pain and do not take any narcotics and have had multiple surgeries, never have.For a physician NOT to prescribe medication that I have been taking for over 30+ years and to tell me that she's referring me to mental health because she doesn't prescribe my types of medications left me floored. I was referred to a psychatrist that cannot see me until....September 4th, 2015. Wow, so if something does happen, I was told to go to an ER. Wow...
Moral is: I cannot get my ADHD meds, I cannot function in society. I cannot function in society, I become a problem for the tax payers. I'm not going to be, I'm seeking another doctor who can help me and keep me focused and healthy.
