We have just returned from a Spring Training game at Salt River Fields. The facility is first rate for watching a Spring Training game, and I know it is a baseball game but half of the fun of visiting Spring Training games around the Valley is a sampling of good food and drink options. The Salt River facility's food is very poor and unimaginative. It is simply pre-prepared dogs and burgers; all at horribly inflated prices! Other than pre-packaged beer and wine, the drinks are watered down and even those are all at inflated prices. If I recall last year, the cans of beer are up 25% in one year. As local residents, don't know if we will be back next year.
