I have experienced the Richard Petty Driving Experience multiple times in Las Vegas and Daytona. I thoroughly enjoyed every experience; until this last one - which is now under the Nascar Racing Experience. It seems like a good deal when you first give them your money but the actual in-car experience is not the same. Every time I drove I was able to go faster. As you get more time in the car you want to do more. This last experience was a definite drop off. My friend and I both paid for the Rookie Experience which is supposed to be 8 laps. It seems like the new company does things in minutes instead of laps. Last year I was able to get to 167 MPH and I was pretty happy. This year, with the new way the cars are set up, I only was able to get to 145. What a let down.
If you have never experienced driving a stock and you would like to try it, this is a good experience. If the company keeps the process the same I will need to look for other experiences.
