I am from Hokkaido, Japan, and I have been going to Japan Express for 10+ years. The food was top notch and very close to what you get in Japan. In fact, the teriyaki beef may have been the best I've ever had.
However, I am very disappointed to say that the quality of the food has drastically gone down recently. In an effort to make the dishes healthier, the owners have made the dishes noticeably worse. What was once moist, flavorful, and delicious is now dry, bland, and forgettable. I don't think I can go back now since I know how good it was before these changes.
Owners of Japan Express: Please reconsider! You know the food is bad now and so do the customers.
