It's not a bad store. It's a pretty good store actually, as far as supermarkets go. A solid four stars.
I want to drop two stars for the absurd inconvenience of NOT accepting any major credit cards, expect for Discover. Discover...the one card that I now longer have. Discover...the one card that I have no desire to have. Discover...the one card that no one in my group had. Oh, and they don't accept debit cards of any form. They accept cash, paper check (yeah, I know), and Discover card. That's it. Bless their checkout staff. They must get so sick of having to explain this over-and-over to unknowing new customers. We stood there, reacting and re-asking and re-clarifying this payment policy, just puzzled. They were patient and kind.
Adding a star back for being a small, local chain. Not the best-stocked of supermarkets, but pretty impressive considering the size of the company. #shoplocal !!!
