I loved this place when I lived here. Ezra is really friendly. Friendly service is one thing that keeps me coming back to a place even if I'm not in the neighbourhood. He makes a great latte and some good eats. Too bad there's no wifi here, but he doesn't need wifi to lure people in! The sandwich board advertising freshly baked croissants got me in here initially. The croissants, cookies and other baked goods are great. The tea is ok but is served in a cast iron tea pot which is a nice touch. The smoked salmon dish was my absolute favourite but I believe that it's now extinct. The smoked white fish is a close second but I'm sad that the smoked salmon is gone. The chicken sandwich is delicious, and I was told to try the meatloaf but it was all out when I asked. The baked goods (croissants for example) are better at this location than the Dundas West one, for some reason (not sure why). Overall, great spot for healthy and organic focused lunch, high quality coffee and baked goods.
