I'm not sure why the first reviewer would even review a place based on a hot summer day when this has absolutely no bearing on the quality of care that they give to the residents. Since the turnover in management this place has really stepped it up. My mother has been there for a year and she is getting excellent care. We just attended their Thanksgiving dinner last week, scheduled a week before Thanksgiving because if you know anything about Alzheimer's it is very difficult for the family to bring them in the car when they get to a certain stage. ( read: they try to jump out of the car while you are moving) The dinner was absolutely amazing. All the residents had a really good time with their families in a nice secure environment. At my mom's stage of Alzheimer's where she gets violent and tries to escape, there is no way that we could bring her out of the building to our home for Thanksgiving this year so this was a very nice thing for the community to do. The staff put a lot of time and effort to make the holiday warm and festive. Thanks to all of you for allowing us the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving with her.
