I live in Gilbert and I recently enrolled at Grand Canyon University, so I knew I had to get a vehicle that would get me better gas milage than the Honda I was currently driving. I despise the Toyota Prius but we knew that it was a gas saver like no other. My husband and I went to Big Two Toyota to JUST look, to see if we could handle the Toyota Prius. Let me just say I HATE going anywhere that has sales people, they follow you around and try to sell you anything you look remotely interested in. I know it is there job but they always seem phony. So before I got out of the car with my husband at Big Two Toyota I was ready to be swarmed by the Vultures at the car dealer ship. But to my surprise just one girl came out to greet us, her name was Meghan. She was very personable. We let her know we were looking for a gas saver, and we were reluctant to buy a Prius. We asked if we could look at one so she went inside to grab the keys and came back out with a gentlemen that knew a little more about the Prius his name was Mike, who was very knowledgeable about the Prius. I wanted to test drive the Prius so we all got in and I drove. Meghan and Mike were very friendly, personable and down to earth. They were both professional but also very......real. They were not fake or trying to be someone they were not. During the test drive we found out that Meghan was new and that Mike was her boyfriend. It was a relief to be able to get their HONEST view of the car. With sales people they are always friendly but I never feel like I can truly believe what they are telling me. I am a very skeptical person but with Meghan and Mike, I can honestly say they were so down to earth and real! After driving 3 or 4 Prius cars, we decided to go inside in the air conditioning and talk about prices. Sitting down and discussing prices of several Prius vehicles we were given a meal while we discussed numbers. The food they serve there is delicious. How many car dealerships serve you a MEAL while you are there to buy a car?! But unfortunately we had to leave to get our kids, so we let them know we would be back next week to check out the prius again. We felt no pressure what so ever from this couple to buy right then. After getting home and doing some errands, we had a couple hours to spare so we decided to go back and check out the prius again. My husband wanted me to test drive the "sporty" version of the Prius, yes they make a sporty version of this vehicle. I know I am laughing as I type. We also needed to see how our kids fit in the back. So Mike greater us as Meghan was having someone bring the "sporty prius" out. After driving I knew that I HAD to get a Prius, it gets 50mpg. We had our kids jump in the backseat and we test drove. After the test drive my kids enjoyed their time playing in an inside play area while we spoke to Meghan and Mike. After talking they were able to get us a decent price on a car I Never wanted to drive. How many people can say they are extremely happy with the service they received after buying something they truly don't want. Meghan and Mike did a great job from the time we got to Toyota Big Two until the time we drove off with our prius when they handed our kids goodie bags. Mike and Meghan are truly an asset to Big Two Toyota's Team!
