I took my beloved pooch here for a bath while in town visiting relatives. The first time I called to schedule an appointment, the person was a bit cranky, but when I called back a few minutes later, a much nicer girl answered the phone. I liked that they told me the name of the groomer who would be bathing my dog (Kyle), and I was able to meet him in person when dropping off our dog. Kyle fully explained all of the charges to me ahead of time, and I didn't feel overly pressured to buy "upgrade" services as you sometimes do at other places. They needed proof of vaccinations (as most reputable places do), and made it easy for me to have my vet fax them the records from out of state. Finally, they called me promptly when he was done and pickup was an easy process. Despite the initial grumpiness, this was a pretty good place to take my dog, and I would take him here again if I'm back in town.
