The patio that's open during the summer season is right by the water, where people often sail their boats and can even park it at the restaurant.
It's a beautiful upscale restaurant in Pickering, if you want to feel like you're out of the city for the day. You can even walk further down the strip to see a boardwalk.
As for the food, it's again on the $$ side but flavourful food.
Wild Mushroom Bolognese: $19
- Strong flavour (can taste the wine used for the sauce)
- Decent portion
Buttermilk Fried Chicken: $25+
- Chicken could use more flavour
- Comes with Mac and cheese, Cornbread and coleslaw
- Mac and cheese was spot on
- Cornbread was dry
- Coleslaw had a unique taste but was delicious
Would come back on a hotter summer day!
