We were staying at MGM and decided to try Fiamma. Reading the menu displayed outside the restaurant, we were drawn in by what looked like glossy Italian. We shared the Beef Carpaccio to start -- classic cipriani & citronette dressing, spicy patatine, shaved parmigiano, and brioche croutons. Excellent appetizer, beautifully presentd. For my entrée, I selected the Gnocchi with sauteed lobster, cremini mushrooms roasted leeks and black truffle cream. A divine and very rich pasta dish. My daughter had the Raviolini with short rib ravioli, black truffle cream, vegetable confetti, red wine demi-glasse, a taste sensation. My deep Italian roots have been cultivated to the height of snobbishness when it comes to what passes for authentic Italian food. While this is a more sophisticated take on the traditional, it surpassed my expectations. A lovely restaurant with superior food and attentive staff.
