I dealt with Paul for my consultation and ordering. He's great. I've known for a while that if I needed shutters, that I would go with Sunburst. I just needed to find a house to buy first.
We visited the showroom, and one of the girls explained all of our options so that we knew exactly what we were going to want. She explained frames, louvers, textures, opening styles, and wrote all of our choices down so we could present them to our sales person when we did finally buy a house.
When we knew the exact day we would get our keys, I scheduled Paul to come out the day after. We were probably his easiest sale ever. We handed him the specs we wanted, and pointed out which windows we wanted measured. He never even had to pull out a sample. He was quick with his measurements, and told us about what swings would look best for each window.
Later that afternoon, as I was telling my wife which windows I ordered, the afternoon sun hit our eyes from a window that we didn't order. Again, this was only the second day owning the house, and first being in it at this time. I called Paul and he set another time to measure that window, but promised that the others would be in production.
The installers were great. Very minimal dust and trash left behind. There was a problem with two windows "creeping" closed when you open them. It was an issue with being out of plumb. Also, one sunburst (half round), was the wrong size. There was an existing sunburst that we didn't remove, and the other company measured differently than sunburst did. Not a big problem, and Sunburst reordered it. When they came to install the replacement sunburst, the installer corrected the "ghost shutters" that were moving on their own too.
All in all, a great product and customer service. Angela, the scheduler was awesome as well. I probably talked with her the most, as I had to reschedule a couple of times, and she did so much to accommodate our schedule.
