There's a new kid on the block and let me just say she's about to be the leader of the popular crowd. A friend of mine introduced me to Wind mobile. You've surely heard about them by now with all the media coverage on this new cell phone provider in our city, but I guess I had to see it to believe it. They have JUST opened up, so their selection of phones is a little limited, but their cell phone plans more than make up for it. Their $45/month plan is their most expensive one and with it, you get unlimited, anytime Canada-wide calling (yes, this includes all long distance calls in Canada) and unlimited text messaging. Oh and did I mention that they don't lock you into contracts? Plus since they ARE the new kid on the block, they're super eager to please and are willing to bend over backwards to ensure their customers are happy, which is a refreshing change from our other cell phone providers in town. I haven't yet made the switch, but I've definitely realized that even if I stay locked into the contract I'm in and bump down my services to the bare minimum and sign up with Wind Mobile, I'll still be paying far less than I ever have with my current cell phone provider. Wind is a refreshing new addition to our city. Be sure to check them out for yourself!
