If you have insurance coverage then I highly recommend going elsewhere - like Walgreens, where you can get almost all of the basic immunizations needed at a reasonable price and they will bill your insurance. I was referred to World Travel Health by my PCP so I decided to make an appointment. I had already done my research ahead of time and had a good idea of which ones I needed. I was not told ahead of time that there is a fee regardless of if you get an immunization or not so that was kind of frustrating to get there and find that out. I can't remember the amount exactly, but it was either pay for 1 of the vaccines and a $40ish visit fee or pay much more just for a visit fee...something along those lines where I had no choice to not get at least one of the vaccines that day. It also included a couple of prescriptions for meds I would need which was good. They don't go through your insurance though so you have to pay out of pocket and if you have a deductible plan it won't apply to that unless you submit the claim yourself. The lady at the front also told me it was highly unlikely my insurance would even cover it. I decided to get the cheapest vaccine and then went to Walgreens for the others. When I went to Walgreens they billed my insurance, had cheaper prices on all of the vaccines, and turns out my insurance actually covered the immunizations so had I gone there in the first place I would've saved $150. The provider I saw was nice and helpful and did give me accurate information, but she made me feel pressured when I wasn't willing to get $300+ in vaccinations that day. If you have complicated travel plans with lots of vaccinations needed and aren't on a budget then I definitely recommend this place for your travel health needs. But if you are on a tight budget and/or have decent insurance coverage my recommendation would be to go check out Walgreens first once you know the vaccines you need.
