I grew up in Southern California where there were a bunch of Chinese hole in the wall restaurants. So this place is nostalgic for me and brings back memories. This is a solid 3.5 for me. From the moment you walk in, the decor is a little on the older side. The ladies serving us were friendly towards us, but we're very strict to each other when it came to work. They were very efficient and almost robotic when it came to taking orders, bringing out food and clearing plates. As for the food, it's more about the memories than the taste. If it means something, everything was fried fresh, hot and was crispy. The food was super oily, super salty and made me feel like a blimp afterwards. But you know what?! I grew up eating this stuff so I loved every bit of it. Thank goodness for the gym though. If this location were in a nicer area, it probably would have gotten a 4 star rating. I don't know when I would be back again, but now I know where to get the greasy Chinese food I sometimes crave.
