I rarely give a 5 star rating to a restaurant but I couldn't find anything wrong with this place. We arrived on a Friday evening and was promptly seated. The place was about 75% full. The staff was incredible from the hostess to our waiter, Marshall. I was there with 3 friends and we were really looking for a good meal, good wine and a place to catch up with each other. Within a minute or two our waiter arrived and asked it we would like to place our drink order. We were still looking over the wine list and he then said he would get our water. One thing that impressed me was he asked if everyone wanted lemons in their water. I hate lemon in my water and have never been asked this. One bonus point for Marshall. When he returned he asked if we had any questions and we asked him several questions on the wine, all of which he answered, you could tell he knew the wines quite well. When the wine came he asked if we would like to test it before he poured all of us a glass, another bonus point. At this point I am wondering why this place gets such bad reviews but then again we hadn't had anything to eat. We asked for some time to chat and he was very accommodating. I despise going in a restaurant for dinner and being rushed. He checked back with us a couple times and again we asked a few questions about the nightly special and he gave us his opinion on some of the entrees. I had the pork which was amazing along with the house salad, the white balsamic vinaigrette was wonderful. One of the ladies had the special which was a swordfish and scallops combo with house made pita. She said it was also amazing. The two other ladies had the salmon and they also said the food was great. Marshall checked in with us a couple times to see if we needed more wine and to make sure everything was ok. Before preparing the bill he asked us if we would like him to split the bill instead of just handing us one bill. All in all it was a great meal, great service, great wine. I will definitely be back. BTW I am a restaurant owner and I look for flaws, I couldn't find one. This will definitely be a place I come back to.
