I've uploaded some pics of the damage to my patio doors after Slide Right installed a pool safety latch system today, in my Brand New House. The latch is PLASTIC and already worn in one day. Won't last long in Arizona. If you're looking for an auto closing patio door without the pulley and wire looking system, this is not for you. On the outside of the patio door the handle has a string/wire to release the latch. Also, the worn latch is not level or is to thick so the patio door gets stuck in the open position before it even reaches the grooves!! Cylinder works fine so far but the latch system is ridiculous! RUN!!!!
