Best sushi in Phoenix. No question. Always fresh fish and high quality dishes. Can't deny any of this.
But the reason we no longer go is quite simple - poor service. Nothing incredibly egregious or offensive, just seriously slow and inconsistent. If they decide to make your orders quickly it all comes at once (fine for us, but not always ideal). But, if they decide to put you on the back-burner, forget about it - you're there all night for no apparent reason. It took us a while to realize that this will never get better (probably 20-25 dinners over 2 years), so we just got tired of trying to figure this out. Large tips, friendly conversations with servers, simple orders ... none of that helped - they're just poorly organized.
