I've been practicing Bikram off and on for a few years now at several studios in New York. After moving to Vegas, I got a groupon for 10 classes for BYLV with the assumption I would be checking out a variety of Bikram studios in the area and I have had absolutely no need to do so. This is a wonderful studio and I have since bought a year-long membership. My goal is to practice 3x/week, in conjunction with my other workouts/practices. All of the instructors I have taken class from are just awesome -- like snowflakes, all different, all really amazing instructors. I've taken classes from Jordan, Nita, Kimberly, Sherri and a few more -- can't remember everyone's names off the top of my head. I especially love Jordan's stories during savasana which keep the momentum going and have introduced me to a lot of very cool things I am thankful to have learned! While it is impossible to have a Bikram studio without the Bikram 'smell' (thank you Bikram Choudhury for mandating the practice must be done on carpet. le sigh.), BYLV keeps it to a minimum and the rest of the studio - lobby, showers, locker area - are very very clean. I also love that the lockers don't need padlocks, the locker area and front lobby area are *gorgeous*, and the showers are stocked with conditioner, shampoo, and shower gel. The materialist in me also bought some fabulous yoga pants from their really nice selection of clothes for sale. The only 'complaints' I have are related to the idiosyncracies with my own schedule -- I would love more early AM classes during the week and later classes on weekends, but I can't really be critical about that because I don't know what the popularity of those classes would be. I love this studio and all of the instructors -- yay BYLV! :-)
