I almost didn't go here because of some of the reviews I saw, which would have been a mistake.
Don't go expecting 5-star cuisine and you won't be disappointed.
This place is everything a fried chicken joint is supposed to be: fast, greasy, unhealthy, tasty, and affordable. Okay, so one or two people found a hair in their fried chicken... Is that the worst thing in the world? No. I assure you, even Bobby Flay's perfectly gelled hairs sometimes end up in the world class cuisine he's cooking. Unfortunately, we live in a world where one mishap like that can wind up on a rating site like this and torpedo a solid business.
Bottom line: this is a solid meal. I picked the food up at the place and it was clean with an open kitchen, and the staff was friendly.
Do not be deterred by the bad reviews and adjust your expectations accordingly.
