As stated by previous patients, if I could give 0 stars I would. I have been a patient of Dr. Ramzen and Kazi for many years and had no issues or concerns. I think Dr. Ramzen is a competent physician but his office is a disaster. I waited to post because I tried unsuccessfully to communicate with Dr. Ramzen. I had a colonoscopy 10/16. The nurses were incompetent at starting an IV. It took two nurses and two IV's. I complained that the second one hurt and was told it was fine. I was placed in the prep area with rails up in both sides and no staff in the room. I couldn't get out of bed and had to yell and yell for someone to get me up to use the restroom. Someone finally came out of the procedure room and took me to the bathroom & hung my IV up on a hook. I could barely reach the toilet and struggled to get the IV off the hook. I saw all the nurses eating lunch in the break room on my way back to bed. My husband asked if he could sit with me until my procedure and was told no. I didn't see anyone again until my procedure two hours after it was Scheduled. I was told my IV was bad and a 3rd one would be put in when I was asleep. The procedure was completed and the next my arm swelled and my hand was discolored. Having been a long time patient I wanted to let Dr. Ramzen know my experience with the IV, restraints with both rails up unable to get out of bed and no staff available because they were all eating lunch together. We met with the office manager and nurses who said they aren't required to monitor patients in the prep room but could perhaps get a bell. They didn't address the IV or restraint. I was told the office manger would speak with Dr. Ramzen and contact me. I tried to call her several times, left messages and never had my calls returned. I finally sent a letter to Dr. Ramzen and again never received a response. I have found another practice that is more caring and responsive to their patients needs.
