I casually went in to the Cos Bar just for a restock of foundation I've been using for years, but remembered I needed a lighter color as my skin isn't as dark as it used to be.
Jessica asked if I needed help finding anything, and I explained my situation. I had explained, at the moment, I was having a horrible reaction to a neutrogena acne topical cream and my face was broken out, red, burning and peeling. She felt bad, had me sit down and brought over a skin care line and applied everything necessary to relieve pain and discomfort of my face. It was wonderful!
She took her time finding the perfect liquid foundation for my skin tone, switching between a couple of brands. She finally found the right color, and didn't stop there. Jessica added powder, taught me how to finally contour my face (yay!), applied blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. She took her time explaining what she was applying, how to do it, and why. I felt a million times more confident looking in the mirror than I did when I walked in!
Jessica also explained what to keep using in my skin care regimen, and what I should add or take away because of my oily/dry type of skin. I was very pleased with how she took her time for me, and will definitely be back to shop with her!
I ended up purchasing several brushes, a contour kit, new liquid foundation, a powder compact, concealer, and new blush--WITHOUT feeling pressured-which is #1 for me to return back to a store. Can't wait to use all my new goodies!
