stayed here with my wife last week for a 1 night getaway
first time we are staying at the hotel, which was selected for us by priceline.
the location and the facilities good. location is right downtown. we enjoy walking all over and checking out placed by foot. the hotel was clean and very busy. they were doing some renovation in the lobby but it was no problem at all to staying guests.
we had one issue / incident we felt was dealt very poorly with by the hotel. we had some food we purchased for breakfast the previous evening once we realized room had a small fridge for guests use. in the morning, all the food was frozen solid. as it was mainly veggies and fruit we needed to get rid of them all and go for some greasy breakfast downtown style. when i called the front desk to tell them about the incident, all i got was "we are very sorry" which was the way we felt as well- but lacked lots of class!
i would rate much higher otherwise....
tip - for parking, we used a public parking under a residential building on gerrard st just east of younge st, we discover while heading to the hotel parking lot. so if you are willing to walk 1 short block you can save some $20 (parking was $12)
