Four Seasons - Veranda restaurant - Las Vegas (Adjacent to Mandalay Bay) - Thee Weekend Brunch Buffet After several salivating posts from Yelp Elite PhilT and his friends, my husband and I knew we had to experience the Four Seasons Veranda Weekend Brunch Buffet. Just to clarify, not all brunches are buffets. I seem to hear a lot of diners disappointed when they think they are, but really aren't. But when they are- now it's a great weekend! Beautiful hotel. Come on, it's the Four Seasons. It's a classic. During the day, I would suggest resort casual. If not sure, call and ask. In one of the reviews, someone suggested making a reservation. We made our reservation at 11:00a.m. and arrived at 10:30. They we're happy to seat us. Very friendly and engaging hostess. As it was a chilly day in Vegas, we sat inside. As we looked over the menu, we knew we were really there for, "Thee Brunch Buffet". Several years ago, we swore off buffets as they were trouble for the waistline and the quality to price ratio was disappointing. But after seeing so many great reviews on Yelp and Instagram, my husband and I wanted to give Veranda a try. And for a high end Four Seasons buffet in Vegas, how can you go wrong for $39, right? Alex was our waiter. He offered us a carafe of coffee which was included in our brunch buffet, as well as juice. We sat for two and half hours. In between grazing sessions, my husband and I talked, did a little journaling and goal setting and just relaxed. It was nice. The staff never rushed us. The seasonal item was the mini chicken and waffles with a caramel-bourbon-like-sauce that was delicious. The size was just perfect to satisfy your curiosity and still have room to make your way around the buffet. Another hit was the lemon ricotta silver dollar pancakes- light texture with a bold lemon flavor. I didn't need syrup. It was great on it's own. OK. This review is running long. It's one of my first. I'll add more tomorrow. As for now, we highly suggest going to Veranda. I know we'll be back. Night. Night.
