Last night was our second time here. The first time was two years ago for our anniversary and it was so perfect! The ambience cannot be beat- it's quiet, serene and lovely. The menu is limited and prices are high- which is okay for a special occasion. The wine is good and the service (the first time) was excellent. This second time- the service was good but not above board as it should be in a find dining establishment. Dinner was not as good as it was the first time we were there- everything was impeccable two years ago and I just kept thinking that there was a change in the chef. At the end of the meal- our waiter informed us that that a new chef has indeed taken over and recently changed the menu. I asked how the change was being received and he said very well. Which I find confusing because there is a significant difference in quality, presentation and taste. We left unfulfilled.
