I lived at Colter Park for a year and thought it was an amazing place to live for the price. Living in a spacious one bedroom (750 sq ft) for $575 per month is a great deal! Things that were great: Free Airconditioning and Heat with their swamp cooler system (amazing money saver). Management was very cooperative and responsive to my needs Location is amazing with Frys, LA Fitness, Subway, Office Depot and light rail within .2 miles. Ample parking - never any trouble with spaces. There are some things to know are different than they appear in the model: The carpets in my unit were a little bit worn through. The residents spanned a wide range from business people to people that fought and passed out drunk on the sidewalks outside the apartments. Power goes through SRP which requires M-Power boxes that have a pretty steep startup fee. If you need a place to live on a budget I think this is the best option for the location and how nice the units are inside.
