The club is a really nice club with a pool and a Vegas-like feel...but the only difference is the place was pretty empty and the DJ was not good. It probably was due to the fact that when we went (Saturday night) on the big Pac vs Mayweather fight... all the good DJs were probably in Vegas. The DJ that night wasn't that great, he had too many breaks and didn't transition well. The venue itself is nice- one of the nicer clubs I've been too. I like the fact that they have drink stations outside so you don't have to ask the bartender for water. The crowd was a bit young...and rowdy. As there were many "bros" and "hoes". There were a lot of amazonish looking females, I almost gotten crushed by 3 of them while dancing, they were at least 5'10 with heels and huge. It was pretty empty...even when we left closer to 1. Maybe it's just a super big club? We didn't feel the club that night...and to exit was confusing! We had to walk through another bar to get out and that bar was small and jammed pack. It was hard to get through the rowdy bros to leave. At least that night we didn't have to pay cover. The drinks were pretty cheap (comparing to SD). I guess Maya is kind of like Vegas's little step brother...maybe once or twice removed.
