I finally managed to try this place. My friend has raved about it forever but couldn't remember the name. What this place has is copious amounts of beautiful fresh produce at incredibly reasonable prices. I bought enough fruits and veggies for $10 that would have easily cost me $20-$25 at Loblaw's. A few highlights: ~~Carrots with the greens still attached. ~~Smaller bunches of celery (I usually only want a couple stalks and hate buying a ton at Loblaw's) ~~Fresh basil by the bunch, not in a tiny plastic clamshell. This produce is definitely fresher. It's also dirtier, so more washing is going to be required than one of your super-sanitized supermarkets. The Portuguese woman manning the checkout is friendly fixture. Other staff don't necessarily speak English. I found it easier to ask other customers where things are. A TIP: No credit cards accepted here. Debit with $8 minimum. The line can be long but worth it.
