Needed a place to stay after a concert at Ak-Chin Pavillon.
When I first booked it a few months before, there was a non refundable rate in the low $40 range. I booked it for $51.99 with refund until the day before.
Later the price went up to $60. But day of I saw it was $49.99 and they even have that price listed on their neon sign.
I didn't expect much for the price but here is my feedback:
For adults, it may be fine but this is not a place to take your kids. Homeless people are hanging around the stores next to hotel. Some interesting people on the premises.
Front desk was okay. Not welcoming but nice enough.
The room is okay. It was pretty clean. Some stains on the walls and bathroom door. Needs an update for sure. Old furniture and TV. Seat has rips in it.
Non smoking room and thankfully did not smelly smoky. AC worked good too.
Very small towels and toiletries. Fridge does not seem to function.
No free wifi.
Overall I did not expect much for the price but next concert I would drive a little further.
