I recently came to the uptown location at Cleveland Yoga and I paid for the new student one month unlimited pass for $40. I thought this was a great price and I certainly got my use out of it and I LOVE hot yoga. The studio was always nice and warm and clean. I want to give them more stars but the reason I feel I didn't is because of their customer service, and I don't plan to return. The people at the front desk are not very welcoming and seem as if you coming in is an inconvenience for them. This is especially true at the Beachwood location where the women at the front desk were not only rude, but frankly, they acted like caddy high school girls. I would even call the behavior snobby towards people they were obviously not familiar with like new comers such as myself. Both locations have smaller rooms, but the Beachwood location feels like a closet with max capacity jammed inside. I don't even mind if it's busy, but this was a bit much (worrying that I'm going to kick the person behind me or hit the person next to me). I could even get over that as well if there was good energy. However, I've never seen so many rude, and seemingly angry people leave a yoga session. Perhaps they were just as frustrated? The Beachwood location experience was so displeasing I never went back. But I finished my month at the uptown location. This is by far the better location to choose from. TJ was a great instructor, and there were a few other female instructors I would like to see again. But I can't see myself wanting to pay the full price when I get greeted the way I do. I don't think it's a horrible place by any means, but when I come to yoga, I already have enough stress that I'm trying to let go of. I don't want to add to it with caddy people that act like they can't say hi to a new face and would instead prefer to act childish and snobby. Lastly, because of this, I don't want to attend teacher training because, well why would I if this is how the staff acts?
