Just got back from lunch at the 17th Street Cafe. I have no idea why Yelp gives it $$$ - I had the chicken and asparagus sandwich (which came with a huge serving of fries) and an iced tea for $11. Not exactly expensive.
It was however, great food. My sandwich was great - chicken was moist, asparagus cooked well, good quality roll, and seasoned with...basil, I think. Whatever it was, it was tasty!
I'm only in Pittsburgh for the week and happened upon this place while looking for a quick lunch. And while I'm heading out in a few days so probably won't go back, I would definitely recommend it for others to try.
