I love hainan chicken with rice and as far as I know there are only a few places to get it in Vegas. Tung ky (chinese bbq) a small cash only place, flock and fowl, and here. This was my first time trying Nuro and it has became my favorite spot for hainan chicken.
Rice: the rice was on point, Nuro's wasnt as greasy, it was lighter, and it comes with more than other places. It was so good next time i'm getting an extra bowl.
Chicken: the chicken was perfect. I got the white meat but it wasnt dry, it was soft and flavorful, and the temperature was just right.
Sauces: I like the ginger sauce the best, followed by the tangy sauce not sure what it was, and the say sauce the least. This is all just my preference tho. None of the sauces were bad at all.
This has nothing to do with the food but getting served in a metal tray was probably for convenience to easily carry the sauces, the rice, and the chicken in one tray but being that it was metal was a little out of place as the environment is a nice cozy comforting and newer decor and clean environment. Then here comes a metal prison tray lol. Its all good though, im there for the flavor of the food.
Cant wait to go back to try the soup!
