Ok, so for out-of-towners, it's a giant marketplace. There is an outdoor produce section and an indoor section with meat shops and bakery stands and various other vendors. There are also a few "restaurant" stalls that sell hot food and a small coffee shop. Now, a responsible adult could come here do their grocery shopping. Me, on the other hand, I like to *snack* my way from one end of the market to the other. Munch an exotic fruit here, a "smokie" there, a pastry here, a candy apple there, a crepe here, some ice cream there, you get the picture. Last time I went my girlfriend tried rambutan for the first time, and we both tried fresh dates and also nitroglycerine ice cream for the first time. It's also one of the few places in Cleveland where I can buy fresh lychees. Just a word of advice, pick your own when buying from the produce vendors, hand them the one(s) you want to buy. If you just tell them what you want, they'll just put some in a bag and you'll get what you get.
