I confess I am not a big hockey fan, but since my daughter is a BIG time hockey fan she said we had to go to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame. I am so glad we did. This is one of the most interesting museums we have visited - and that from someone who has never seen a full hockey game on TV or in person! The memorabilia, the video clips, the interactive areas, the recreated locker room, and the stories are not only interesting, but also inspirational. You get a deep sense of the commitment to the sport shared by so many. The story of the passion and the competitiveness that (in most instances) stays on the ice is told in the history and experiences of the players and the devotion of the fans. It is a learning experience as well as a fun and entertaining one - and I can't wait until I go to my first hockey game - thanks to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
