While im always looking for new foods to try, i dont mind having something new to drink as well. Dropped by a new tea shop by Midland and Finch called Latea Era. This tea shop has a very comfortable seating arrangement which provides couches, tables and a community seating area in the back, a great place to get work done. . The one thing that caught my attention was the "crown" tea options they offer. The crown or foam they use is made from philly cheese which provides a sweet tangy taste to it. As Howard the owner explained to us, you have to drink the tea to go through the foam. As the rose oolong tea passed through the foam the tea was sweetened with the philly cheese tatse. Overall i enjoyed the crown option, its definitely for an acquired taste. They also have other varieties of tea if a cheese crown isnt your cup of tea. Btw - ordered the cheese crown rose oolong tea. Forgot what my friend ordered but it was also delicious.
