I haven't been at this store in a long time. Stopped by today to get some stuff. Never experienced bad customer service before but today was different. Cashier was not even looking at me, just rang my purchases and gave me the total. When I disputed that the item was on sale, he said it wasn't the right item. When I insisted, he asked someone to take a look at the price tag. Sure enough the sales price tag was incorrectly placed. I wanted the item and so I said I'll take it full price. Without even getting my okay, he made an adjustment so that the item would be at the sales price and he didn't look happy when he was doing it. When I repeated that I would pay the full price, he gave me a dirty look and said that he couldn't change it back. So I paid it. When he was giving me my change, he practically threw it at me. All this time there were no other customers waiting but he acted as if I was taking too much of his time. Not going back again. This was the only Ace store that I signed up for their rewards program, but I would rather buy what I need elsewhere. I felt like the cashier was very biased and I felt racially targeted. I don't usually feel that way when dealing with people, but today I felt it.
