Angie is extremely talented. I have had the worst time trying to find a stable, and good quality stylist to install extensions in my hair. I was turned down by many of the five star salons in Scottsdale because my hair is short, or they didn't have my hair color in stock or they didn't have the kind of hair that matched my hair texture. Angie was not at all intimidated by the length of my hair, she knew right away what color hair extensions that I needed and she had them on hand. I initially visited Angie after having my second bad install from another salon here in Scottsdale. The previous salon charged me twice the price that Angie charged and the quality of the install and hair was not even close to Angie's work. I visited Angie for a consultation with a set of extensions that had been installed by another salon, she knew instantly that they didn't put enough extensions in and the previous salon butchered my hair in an attempt to "blend" the extensions. I knew Angie knew what she was talking about when she told me that a stylist is never supposed to cut your natural hair in an attempt to blend the hair and that getting extensions is supposed to give your hair body and length. Angie agreed to take out the extensions that I came in with and even worked with my schedule so that after removal, I could wash my hair and come back for an install without having to go to work without hair once we noticed the damage that the other salon did. I didn't have to wait weeks for a consolation or initial install, and there were no hidden fees or a ridiculous deposit that I had to leave. Angie didn't try to sale me any expensive products to keep up my hair or demand any stupid rituals in preparing my hair the night before install (my previous salon told me to wash my hair three times with dish soap prior to install WTF?). I wanted to wait till after I washed my hair a few times before I gave Angie a review, the hair that she uses stays healthy even after two or three washes and her bead work is amazing, it's easier to wash your scalp with the beading she uses. I didn't have to spend hours at her salon during install, she is fast but meticulous and I can tell she cares about the quality of the work that she does and wants to make sure that your happy before you leave.
