They did not honour their return policy. I brought a shirt I purchased back into the store, never worn and with no indication that I had bought it on sale - no stamps on the receipt and the tag missing on the product - the manager didn't even mention to me it was final sale when I bought it. I brought it home and didn't like the way it looked with my outfit and was disappointed with the quality of the item vs the SALE price.
Not happy with the way I was treated when I tried to return this item. First I was told there are no returns and second I was told that I would be allowed to exchange for another item or for store credit. The clerk went to check the other exact item on the rack for the actual price and she found it was on sale, so no refund/exchange/store credit allowed. She then discussed over text with the manager for the next 15 minutes what she could do for me. Turns out the exchange wouldn't be honoured, no reason was given.
I feel I was treated unfairly and I am deeply disappointed at the lack of response from the store's owner after I emailed her (I was told to by the clerk). I understand return policies but being a first time customer, it would have been nicer to be given the benefit of the doubt. There are plenty of other stores on Queen West that I will gladly support instead.
